Dig
A miner descends into an infinite shaft, lamp burning. The deeper they go, the faster the light dies — and when the lamp goes out, so do they. But the next miner of the line picks up where their ancestor fell, dropping through the tunnels left behind, spending whatever ore made it home on tools that outlive any one life.
One life per generation. Death is the prestige.
How to play
Controls
S:dig the tile beneath you. Harder rock takes more hits; once it breaks, you fall in.A/D: step or dig left and right.Mouse:buy upgrades, navigate menus. Click the speaker icon (top-right) to mute audio.
The lamp
The dim circle around you is your remaining light. Every action shrinks it, and the deeper you are, the faster it shrinks. When it gutters out, the run ends.
Loot
Mining gold and stone earns ore. Ore survives between runs — even if you spend it, the next miner inherits whatever's left in the bank.
Upgrades (all infinitely upgradable, costs scale)
- Pickaxe — more damage per hit. Eventually one-shots stone, then gold.
- Lamp — start each run with a wider radius of light.
- Steady Hand — lamp burns slower per action.
Tips
- Tunnels persist between runs. If your last miner dug a clear shaft, your heir falls down it for free — no lamp cost. Plan dig routes that future generations can fast-track.
- Falling through air is free; mining is what burns the lamp. Choose where you dig.
- Deeper tiles are tougher and yield more. Pickaxe upgrades stay relevant forever; the greed trap pays.
- There's no way back up. The lamp dying is the only exit — and the start of the next descent.
